Big City Farms is a farm based in downtown Indianapolis, committed to bringing farming back into the urban environment.
With nearly three acres of land in production, the farm is able to produce an impressive variety of chemical-free produce, with an emphasis on heirloom varieties. The produce is primarily available through a CSA program that runs from June through October, with additional sales at farmers markets and local restaurants.
In addition to growing high-quality vegetables, the farm also works to increase food and farming educational opportunities, as well as exploring ways in which well-grown produce can be made more accessible to under-served populations.
